Aaron is the founding Director of KATC. He grew up in Bakersfield. He and his wife have one child, a daughter. Aaron has a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership. He leads the team of staff and volunteers, provides the vision, is responsible for the organizations finances and image in the community. He's worked in the field supporting people with disabilities since 1993. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, watching pro sports (Dodgers, Lakers, and Rams), reading, playing racquetball, and astronomy.

David is the first employee hired by KATC. He is an AT Technician. He went to high school in Madera. He is the father of two sons. In the late nineties, he was one of the first AT Advocates to work for an Independent Living Center before coming to work for KATC. He helps people figure out the right technology that matches their interests, provides training, assists with lending library, provides information and referral and does events in the community to raise awarenes about our center and services. In his spare time he operates two businesses of his own, sits on community boards, and enjoys time with family and friends. He likes roadtrips, computers, and music.

Tarun is an AT Professional. He was born in India and came to the US to study. He and his wife have two boys. He has a Bachelor's degree in Math. He is responsible for our equipment loan library program and our tele-medecine program. He helps people figure out the right technology that matches their interests, provides training, provides information and referral and does events in the community to raise awarenes about our center and services. He likes Cricket, NBA Lakers, PGA Golf, and Tennis.

Lourdes is the IDA Program Coordinator. She was raised in Blythe where she met her sweetheart. She and her husband have two boys. She has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She worked in both banks and credit unions in the past before coming to work for KATC. She recruits, enrolls, and supports participants. She also coordinates efforts of our partners in the program as well as refers participants to community resources. She enjoys spending time with her family, and also volunteers for youth sporting activities. Her interests include camping, hiking, sports, and continous learning in her field of finance.

Danielle is the Tele-Medicine Project Assistant. She as from Escondido. She and her husband have one son. She is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services now. She shedules, ships and receives equipment, and does community events to raise awareness about our program and services. She likes spending time with her son.

Jamie is the Business Administrator. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She met her husband in San Diego and they settled in Bakersfield. She has a degree in Business Administration. She and her husband have one son and one daughter. She keeps the books, performs clerical duties, and assists staff and the Board with other duties. She enjoys going camping in her trailer with her husband.
